Westbourne Bookshop
Westbourne Bookshop is a family-owned independent bookshop in Westbourne, Bournemouth, a buzzing urban village filled with independent shops, cafes & restaurants, all a short walk through a wooded chine to the beach.
The bookshop has traded in Westbourne since 1994 and was bought in June 2015 by the Angel family, owners of the well-known Gullivers Bookshop in Wimborne Minster. It stocks a full range of new books covering every genre, with a rapid ordering system in place to supply any book in print within 24-48 hours. We also stock a range of jigsaws, educational toys, cards, calendars and diaries.
Westbourne Bookshop was one of the founding members of the Dorset campaign and coordinated the bulk purchase of The Lost Words on behalf of the appeal. They also helped the Lost Words Dorset initiative by holding a stock of The Lost Words books bought by the appeal and passing these on to the local schools.
